I LOVE this Poem: Brushstrokes in My Heart by Nita

Who is Fallingwillow?
I've spent a lot of time piddling around with words because I love them so much. As a high-schooler I remember the joy when I took Latin because I always was looking for where the word came from as well as what it meant.

I've been published two times out of two attempts. LOL Also received an honorable mention among five area poets in Fort Worth Star Telegram Poets of North Central Texas in 1991.

My home is someplace warm and occasionally downright toasty and I live near the water. Love listening to the waves at night and thanks to the tall pines, enjoy the Heidi-esque sounds of the wind in the pines during the day as well.
