Where The Dirt Road Ends

___

Full tank of gas in this gold wrangler

Top down sun fading in the rear view

A sweet voice on the line

Asking me to take her for a ride

Give me 10 minutes then come on outside

Girl,you know I’m already outside

Waiting on you...

We gonna chase the sun with some moonshine

Go down some roads that we ain’t never been

We’re just making memories

We’re just being kids

Doing things that Mama and Daddy said they never did

I know somewhere the dirt road ends

There’s a tire swing

That leads to a muddy river

These old jeans they may fit just right

They’ll look even better across some limb

Let’s take a chance and jump on in

All I want is Moonlight and your kisses on my skin

When we chase the sun with some moonshine

Go down some roads that we ain’t never been

We’re just making memories

We’re just being kids

Doing things that Mama and Daddy said they never did

One day we’ll be grown

We won’t have time for this

Tonight let’s sip what we can sip

Turn the dial up to ten

Smoke what we gonna smoke

It ain’t wrong but it ain’t right

Sunday mornings are for forgiving what you did on Saturday night

When we chase the sun with some moonshine

Go down some roads that we ain’t never been

We’re just making memories

We’re just being kids

Doing things that Mama and Daddy said they never did

Moonlight and my baby’s kisses on my skin…
