Hospital Parking Lot

I turn into the parking lot
though it is not spherical
I roll along caressing my
wedding ring with my thumb

luna shines in the night
I anxiously wait to hug my wife
fully enclosing her in my arms
I curve around the last bend

Alas! an opened spot!
a feeling of happiness rushes
through my heart and a tear of
joy trickles down my face
