I gather the riches of each day, with my sight, my touching. The water runs along a
stream solely undisturbed except for sun bathers; it is nature at its best, we are together
Peace is all around me here, I fear no elements of life. The rocks seem to be laying
together chatting, seeming to be beyond human life, with our constant working to survive.
People slaying people everyday suffering mounts, the rocks with the water buffeting
each other do not kill, do not evolve, why indeed.
Written June 6.1979.
*This is the first I posted this poem on the Cafe.
*1979 was the year I lost my best friend in June and my Mother in Oct.
