GOD IS TRUE ( Nonet )

~ God Is True ~
( Nonet )

The Holy Bible is very nice
Sure it tells me that God is true
Fills my soul with Love Divine
Shows that God loves us too
No matter what time
Or where the Lord
For us all

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

-'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 (NIV)

- Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer
Romans 12: 12 ( NIV )

-The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.'
Exodus 14: 13 ( NIV )

-For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this World, against spiritual
wickedness in the high places.
Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)

- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4: 13 ( NIV )

-This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that
God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
1 John: 5

-What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
Matthew 16:26 (NIV)

1. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.

3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.

4. Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.

5. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

~2 Timothy 3 - 5 - King James Version (KJV) ~

A salvation prayer, known by many Christians as a 'Sinners Prayer,' is a prayer one would say to repent from sin, ask God for forgiveness, confess belief in Jesus Christ, and accept him as Lord and Savior. Saying a salvation prayer is the first step in your personal relationship with God.
If you believe the Bible offers truth about the way of salvation, but you have not taken the step to become a Christian, it's as simple as praying this prayer. You can pray by yourself, using your own words. There is no special formula. Just pray from your heart to God, and he will save you. If you feel lost and don’t know what to pray, here’s a salvation prayer that you can follow:

Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me.
I believe that You died on the cross for me to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to You now and ask you to take control of my life; I give it to You. From this day forward, help me to live every day for You and in a way that pleases You.
I love you, Lord, and I thank You that I will spend all eternity with You.

If you have just prayed this prayer, congratulations!

You have received Christ as your Savior and have made the best decision you will ever make—one that will change your life forever!

~Behold, children are heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward'.
Psalm 127:3

Abortion is MURDER! Please people, Do Not Kill a Baby!!!

~There are times when all that we have left is to pray to God.~

~ ' Let Love be without dissimulation . Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. ' ~
- Romans 12:9

~ My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
- Luke 1: 46-47 -

-'Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.'
- Mark Twain -

- Proverbs 14:29; Proverbs 16:32 -

We live in a fallen world where sin is rampant, injustice is common, and conflicts abound. So there are plentiful opportunities to sin in anger. Although we cannot change many of these situations, altering our responses to them is possible.

Situations like struggling economies and natural disasters cause widespread frustration, but difficulties with people can present challenges on a more personal level. When hurt by someone’s words or actions, we may be tempted to hurl a caustic reply or simmer with resentment. Yet as believers, we’re to follow Jesus’ example: 'While being reviled, He did not revile in return ... but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously' (1 Peter 2:23).

Today’s verses from the book of Proverbs emphasize the value of being slow to anger. This is especially important when facing a verbal attack. Quiet listening protects us from speaking rashly and offers the opportunity to ask God for help in responding as Christ would.

A calm, gentle reply can defuse a tense situation, but without taking time to process what was said, few of us will be able to answer wisely. When we are slow to anger, we can gain understanding of the situation and the hidden motives that a hot-tempered person can’t objectively comprehend.

Such a response is unnatural, but that shouldn’t surprise us since the One who modeled it is supernatural. Our priorities need to change if we’re to emulate Jesus. Love and understanding must supersede the need to defend ourselves, and preserving the relationship must replace safeguarding our rights. So be calm in all situations, and let Christ be your defender and protector.

-Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away.

-Song of Songs 8:7

Today's Scripture & Insight: Song of Songs 8:6–7

When we first saw the stream in our backyard, it was just a thin vein of water trickling through a bed of rocks in the heat of the summer. Heavy wooden planks served as a bridge we could easily cross. Months later, torrents of rain pounded our area for several days in a row. Our tame little creek swelled into a quick-moving river four-feet deep and ten-feet wide! The force of this water heaved the bridgeboards up and deposited them several feet away.

Rushing water has the potential to overwhelm almost anything that stands in its path. Yet there’s something that’s indestructible in the face of a flood or other forces that might threaten to destroy it—love. “Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away” (Song of Songs 8:7). Love’s persistent strength and intensity is often present in romantic relationships, but it’s only fully expressed in the love God has for people through His Son, Jesus Christ.

When the things we consider to be sturdy and dependable are swept away, our disappointment can open the door to a new understanding of God’s love for us. His affection is higher and deeper and stronger and longer lasting than anything on earth. Whatever we face, we face with Him beside us—holding us up, helping us along, and reminding us that we’re loved.

-Reflect & Pray -

How can you be sure God will always love you? What’s the outcome of God’s love in your life?

Heavenly Father, thank You for comforting me with Your love during times of rejection or loss. Help me to believe I can depend on You to meet every need in my soul.

God's business is putting things right.

Psalm 11:7

God never gives up. When Joseph was dropped into a pit by his own brothers,
God didn't up.
When Moses said, 'Here I am, send Aaron,' God didn't give up.

When the delivered Israelites wanted Egyptian slavery instead of milk and honey,
God didn't give up.
When Peter worshiped him at the supper and cursed him at the fire, he didn't give up.

And when human hands fastened the divine hands to a cross with spikes , it wasn't the
soldiers who held the hands of Jesus steady. It was God who held them steady. God,
who would give up His only Son before He'd give up on you.

~Today's Reflection~

-Salvation is for today, SEEK THE LORD while He may be found. No one is promised tomorrow.

- Bless is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.
