You Wear Christ's Name
Your life is a sermon, be careful what you preach,
There's other people looking, many you reach
Each thing you do, each word you speak,
Can help or hinder those the Lord may seek.
Yes, Christian remember you serve the King,
He should be more important to you than anything
God gives grace to us pilgrams on earth below,
A share of heaven's joys your heart can know.
You should thank the Lord for your daily bread,
At home and in public you should bow your head
At night before you lay down to sleep,
Ask God to watch over and your soul to keep.
Yes, Christian remember you wear the Savior's name,
Your life is an example whether you praise or blame
The dear Lord may often be measured by you
Your life is an open book, for others to view.
