Goddess of the earth and moon
I will never bow to you,
A ring of gold is on my finger,
And you, a serpent;
whose charm lingers.

I will throw you in the lake!
I will not bow down to a snake,
The words are written verse by verse,
You, though doomed,
Still seek to curse.

Goddess Moon and Mother Earth,
I will not now down to your birth,
Be still and hear the curse dispelled,
Nimrod, Ishtar,
Tammuz quelled!
