The T-o-r-n Dress

It seems beauty
walks through a door
which has a nail
she didn't see

it snags and pulls
until she is left with a lace
dress torn to pieces

naked in a room
filled with people...
her man leaves,
she stands alone
as he walks away

He thinks
she has unveiled
on purpose and never
gives her a chance
to explain
