White Ribbon Of Snow Happy New Year
A ribbon of snow lingers after the storm
On the road leading to and from my home,
Tying the silky fog to the landscape shadows
Of houses and trees hiding in the mist.
The on coming headlights are dim with caution,
Like the gold, cold eyes of a stranger just
I sigh, driving on!
