I'll Be Right Here

I'll be right here

When the last snow is

But a memory

And daffodils

Push through once trampled sod.

Right here...

Looking through a lace curtain

Veil

Dampened by my tears

Because I am standing too close to the

Edge of your absence.

You left forgetting to say goodbye,

So I'll be right here

When you return,

As you must!

Right here

To tell you face to face

I don't care any more!
