Missing - Challenge

The world is so big,
So easy to get lost in.

The neighbor tried to warn
My folks, I was headed down
The wrong path.

My mother told her to mind
Her own business, I was a
Good kid.

My mother had forgotten
It really does take a village
To raise us kids.

The neighbor saw my dealer friends, take me,
Kicking and screaming.
She turned her head, heeding my
mother's warning, to mind her own business.

She ignored the plea for help, from
Me, this good kid.
Now I am lost and I wonder if
They will ever find me.

No need to cry now mama, dad,
You were forewarned,
I'll bet the neighbor doesn't even look your way,
You shouldn't have cussed her out that day.
