How I Began My Day Challenge Verse
Watered the roses in the early morning calm,
No robins singing, no pretty butterflies seen winging.
Sun hovers softly, building for its afternoon heat.
Your tomato plants are thirsty, watered them too.
You asked if I had noticed the beautiful
Crepe Myrtles blooming in pink, my favorite color,
They seemed to touch the pale blue sky.
Oh my, me without a camera, I sigh.
