Another Time Another Day
Stepping lightly into the no-where of
Yesterdays, when we danced into sunrise and oh
How we laughed at those who had to 'get home'.
We toasted their good-byes, glasses touching
Ringing like crystal bells to music where Jazz
Horns honored the night's midnight sun,
As we embraced in youthful glee.
Now we leave early, as time has softened the music,
And so few from our circle of friends remain to toast any thing relating to those
Fond memories where dance, laughter and music was all.
We never thought it would come to this sweet time,
Opening and closing each day with a prayer in
Thanksgiving hearing the sweet voices of
Great grand children trusted with us to spend the night.
Our magical past makes me smile, as so fondly,
I remember the good times.
