I Promise - All Star Challenge Poem

I'll be right here
When the last snow is
But a memory and
Daffodils push through
Once trampled sod.
Right here,
Looking through a lace
Curtain veil,
Dampened by my tears.

I am standing too close to the edge
Of your absence.
You left forgetting to say good-bye,
So, I'll be right here,
When you return,
As you must!
Right here, now face to face, to tell you,
I don't care,
Any more!
