Painting By Moonlight

As if blindfolded,
first I paint your eyes
highlighting the sparkle
radiating the truth your
love speaks.

Then paint your nose,
that flares when you laugh, and
your mouth, lips full and rich,
so I linger here to portray
your smile, God given.

Moonlight becomes a halo
to enhance your body
as I lay to rest in the curve
of your strong arms.
I put every day thoughts,
aside, shutting the night's
moon light out with a turn
our bodies tremble to.
We laugh together, moving
with a rhythm only love can
celebrate.
