WHAT DOES NOT REMAIN|
I thought I caught a glimpse of you,
Across the crowded room.
I rushed toward your imagery...
Your visage as the groom!
I pushed my way through couples who
Were dancing two by two.
It pained me then as it does now...
No coupled pair had you!
So 'oft I think I see your face
And hear you call to me
But ever am I aught to find
The one I love...set free!
Why does my mind find happiness
In tricking me...disdained!
Please hold me as I helpless search
For what does not remain.
THE BRAIN TEASE CHALLEGE
Scrambled word: (smigelp)... glimpse
Used in post: I thought I caught a glimpse of you.
