TELL ME

Tell me that you love me
Hold me all through the night,
Kiss me, cuddle me, hug me,
Talk to me until my eyes are sleepy tight.

Tell me that I'm beautiful
Make me feel secure,
In the knowledge of love everlasting
Me and you and the future and more.

How many children do you think we will have?
Oh! twenty she said in a joke,
Twenty indeed he said laughing
Well you better find some other bloke.

That's why I love you so much he said
You make me so happy when you laugh,
It puts a naughty sparkle in your eyes
Cause our life is so wonderful and daft.

They chatted into the daylight
Until the romantic stars went to bed,
As she fell asleep in his arms
He whispered I love you,
This time next year we'll be wed.
