A BED OF ROSE PETALS|
And so to you my love
I bestow a bed of rose petals red,
To your beauty and radiance
For this is when we are wed.
It will be of sunshine and palatial setting
Flowers of passion and romantic hue,
Your jewellery will be of sparkling diamonds
All set in my favourite colour of radiant blue.
Nothing but the best for you my sweet princess
Your beauty will glow like the twinkling stars,
Your dress will be of pure virgin white
With a bouquet of angelic white roses from mars.
A magnificent gold carriage with a white horse to lead
Through the city where we'll be celebrated on this day,
with love romance cheers and affection
and great happiness to send us on our way.
