CLEVER IS NOT THE WORD

She was a nice girl
Polite and well bred,
Damned good looking too
She sure fooled my head.

Clever isn't the word
For this little gal,
She spent all my money
And took me to hell.

Casino's nightclubs
Resturants and plush bars,
posh shops designer clothes
Top hotels and fast cars.

She was a slick operator
And had a habit to feed,
Namely crack cocaine
Topped up with weed.

I was besotted with her
Ya know what I mean,
I had the money
So I went along with her dream.

Thinking we were in love
But she had a heart made of stone,
She text me one day to say
We were finished on the phone.

I don't know where she came from
I don't know where she's gone
But she was the smartest woman
That ever wore a bloody thong.
