Maze of My Mind

I look deep into your azure eyes,
and for a brief moment I see you dancing under the lunar eclipse.
You wear a crown, flecked with stardust from the skies,
and I succumb to your gentle brush against my lips.

For just a second I imagine,
that I see you dancing in the maze of my mind.
I see you happy and dancing with the wind,
you have broken the ties that bind.

I continue to plan our life,
that is when I was tamed.
But, as I looked into your azure eyes,
I realized I was looking at a picture in a frame.
