Entwined And Divided

She is the moon glow and you are the sunshine
Of my life
as dreams entwine

With phases she plucks at my moods of desire
While you rise daily with all I require

Or so it would seem 'til she fingers my heart
Jumps on my lust that I fear to depart

I'm left shaken and stirred for your warming rays
Wear you as my blanket to heat my days

But a full moon is rising in chilly night air
I breathe in the cool of mysterious fare

I can't combine both in an ecliplse of love
So I divide self, in rotations thereof

You are the bread and she is the wine
She fires my loins; you're constant devine

Her pulse calls to me on thorny night's wind
Yet to your deep tears my heart is pinned

Entwined and divided, I'm breaking in two
Can my earth feel whole, with just sun and no moon?
