YOUR MYSTERY UNLOCKED FOR ME

*Eight By Five*

On winter's trail, with chill to bone,
I climbed toward the Estes Cone
And then I saw a violet...
By a mossy stone.

Her face was delicate in hue
Upon the mountain where I viewed
Such beauty in a simply way...
And her grace was true.

While bending low to touch the crown
Of Nature's purple wedding gown,
Beheld I there a mystery...
Peaceful calm was found.

As I continued up the trail
So steep and rugged, I travailed,
I felt a gentle wind brush by...
Like a Holy Grail.

Sweet violet, I heard you speak
To guide my feet thought I was weak,
Your mystery unlocked for me...
On the path I seek.
