Get Rid Of The Advertisements

~Dandelion Dreams~

I grew in shame’s garden
of dandelion dreams.
Considered just a weed,
by everyone, it seems.

I had such hearty roots;
my stem, it didn’t bend,
until they poisoned me
and brought upon my end.

Killed me ever so slowly,
I died before their eyes.
They watched as I wilted,
withered to my demise.

Weakened beauty gone now,
fallen to the ground.
Silently I lay there,
I died without a sound.

Someone touched me gently;
I felt a rush of power.
Blew dead petals to the wind,
I was just a simple flower.
