Eternal Valentine

Perfumed scents fill the room,
I sit by the window, reflecting . . . .
Moonlight decides to caress my skin,
While I think back on the last two years.

Soft music plays through the night,
Now, I would have told you everything.
How I feel, what I hold inside,
Yes, I would have given my all.

Time, I had all the time in the world,
To be brave and open . . . . calm and confident.
A kindred soul I found in you,
And a word did not dare leave my mouth.

Hearing the sounds of the waves rolling in,
I picture you on the road of life.
I would give anything to be there in the front seat,
And we would go wherever the wind takes us.

Perfumed scents fill the room,
I sit by the window, reflecting . . . .
Through space and time, I reach out to touch you,
And maybe He will recognize how much I want and yearn.

Soft music plays through the night,
Imagining us dancing together for eternity . . . .
You are my chosen one, I know this for sure,
My everything, yes, my eternal valentine.
