A Silly Love Poem

Roses are red, and violets are blue,
I'm head over heals in love with you;
Bananas are yellow, apples are red,
Your lips are so sweet, I get light in the head.

Oranges are orange, and limes are green,
I can't get enough of watching you preen;
Pickles are sour, sometimes sweet,
But let me tell you, you are always neat!

Cake is good, and so is pie,
Loving you can make me fly;
Coffee is hot, ice cream is cold,
My eyes sparkle when you come on bold.

Sunflowers, daisies, and water lilies too,
All are so pretty I get silly for you,
But when it comes to charm and a great big hug,
You're my gal, and cute as a bug.
