MOON BEAMS

I steal away
To the window at night.
To watch the moon
Cast its silvery light.

There's a magical stillness
That covers the grounds.
Each shadow is eerie,
Yet beauty abounds.

I'm truly held captive
By this lunar delight,
The silvery beauty
Of moonbeams in flight.

Do I only imagine
This breathtaking sight,
This dance of the moonbeams
That graces the night?

Chorus
If I'm only dreaming
Just let me go on.
Let moon beam ballerinas
Dance until dawn.
