I Hunger For More Of You

I love you so very much yet
You simply are not mine
I want to embrace and hug you
But it's impossible at this time.

I hunger for your kisses
To touch your dear soft face
We might as well be worlds away
As I work at my busy pace.

I am so blessed I met you
In a most unlikely point in time
The moon was at its lowest ebb
When I thought you could be mine.

I want to follow you to rivers
That flow into the deepest sea
but my eyes just can’t stop crying
‘cause you and I may not be we.

I try to close the windows
Of my bleeding heart from you
But they just keep on opening
As I know our love’s so true.

I lose myself within your soul
Without you to be lost again
I hunger for your love’s embrace
Now.. evermore.. again.. again…
