They say 'The grass looks greener'
In someone else's yard
!
You can't see the weeds they have
From a distance it is hard
!
All looks perfect at a glance
Everything in place
!
Things that are amiss be sure
and haven't been erased
!
Take a look instead at yours
Tend your garden well
!
Fertilize and water
Though you alone can tell
!
To be content you can't compare
Yours against your neighbor
!
Spend that time with what is yours
Be fruitful with your labor
!
Make no mistake and ever take
What you have for granted
!
Be content in your backyard
and bloom where you are
planted!
