Happy Birthday Sweetheart

Happy Birthday, Sweetheart
I know you are sixty five
It's so hard for me to remember
For you seem like twenty five

You have been up a few rivers
And learned how to fish oh so well
You have caught many a whopper
And know how to ring the bell.

Preaching is a big part of you
I enjoy what you have to say
How you bring the Bible alive
With stories reverent for today

We have camped a lot different places
Got hit by lightening too
You always pull everything together
And things go ahead as on cue

You are the greatest of lovers
All things a woman needs
Romantic trips, flowers, and sweet talk
My only lover but all I need

Cheesemaker, you are the best
Your poetry beyond compare
I love to read about times we've shared
And about places called somewhere

Happy 65th Birthday

Even tho you are getting older, Sweetheart
You are definitely getting better
