Being silent listening to the Spirit
When I write I am silent with the Spirit.
I let the answers flow through me on to the paper.
When I write I feel peace and serenity.
'We can become Free from the Prison within.”
”No matter what life brings us we have the strength
From inside of us to get through anything.'
'If you cannot see the beauty in one of God’s creations; you are not looking through the eyes of God.'
'God so loved the World that He gave the World You.'
I wrote the quotes above because they mean a lot to me.
These words have taught me a lot; they have helped me in
my life, on a daily basis.
They have shown me to step back and just be, (Listen) with the Spirit.
I believe that when I am silent I can feel the Spirit and I get answers from the Sprit. Because of the answers I have received I became free from the prison within.
When I am to busy trying to do many things at once, to help others and be praised for everything I do. This means I have not made time to just be (silent).
When I spend time with the Spirit and listen just be and listen I find answers that are within me. Then I am able to see the beauty of God’s creations.
I feel when I am running, I am loosing some of the blessings that I could receive if I would just be still and listen to the Spirit.
I have experienced that when I keep myself to busy, running around doing too much. Getting into my ego and pride I forget who I really am. (I am a child of God.)
It is easy to forget about the friends and loved ones that we have in our lives when we make ourselves so busy that we have no time to show the love we have for our families and friends.
God brings people into our lives for a reason and if we do not take time to meet these people and take time to really listen to them, we won’t fully get the blessings that God has provided for us.
It is so easy to forget that the Spirit is in charge. We can easily start to feel that we are in charge, when we get into our humanness (Ego and Pride) meaning look at me see what I did praise me. I am such a good girl (me, me, me). I have experienced doing those things. So I know the feeling of not letting the Spirit in.
My feeling on this is, that we have to step back and watch what is coming through us Do we want peace and joy to flow through us? Or do we want Selfishness coming through us? It is up to us what we want to portray to our friends and loved ones.
We are the clay that God uses to share His love on earth.
God put us here on earth to live life and to spread the love of God that is what I believe and so if I get myself to busy, how am I going to know what I am supposed to share with others if I have not taken time with myself, and the Spirit, how am I going to provide the answers that the Spirit has for us.
I believe that God speaks through everyone and if we get too obsessed into other things in life, like the materiel things, or just running around looking good we tend to loose the whole meaning of what were here on earth to do.
