The other side of the River...
Where the birds often gather.
To sing their morning songs...
And where little ears will always listen ~
Appearing right at the front door... Of the Emerald Forest.
They are undisturbed by...The early morning's down pour.
Welcoming the cleansing ~ Adoring the freshness
and the brilliant spectrum of colors that form...
Into that of a rainbow.
It is here at the edge where I sit
committing myself to nature~
Without a second glance...
Where the Romance of I and Misted Knight
transpired. He had admired me from...
Afar for many weeks ~
Until he had the courage to speak.
In which he said... 'My fair maiden ~
Are you unaware of the dangers
present in the Forest!'
'There are bears and wild animals~
here and up all the way to the meadowland's.'
'Tis not safe for a fair maiden to be...
Sitting out alone in the wide opening of the forest.
I did not speak... I just stared into his eyes
I was quite aware of the dangers...
However being as stubborn as I am
I wondered about this strangers
concerns and circumstances.
How is it a Knight... Would have
time to sit out here...
All day long to await for my arrival.
He spoke again concluding~
He did not wish to intrude...
On my sacred setting ~
That he would be close by
If I were to need him.
And with that he rode off...
Into the distance upon
his black steed to disappear
into the deepness of the Forest.
