Freddy The Frog

Freddy the frog was cute and green
searching for love a wife, his queen,
from lily to lily he hoped, he sprang
on banks of a pond, to ladies he sang.
His heart was poor, his needs a must
for love he croaked but had distrust,
he was not sure who would be right
to share his home, his hearts delight.
As light shone brightly on the reeds
beneath the stars he spoke of needs,
his bride was to be of royal blood
caring, loving, not a stick in the mud.
he leapt in the water, swam to a bank
the moon in the sky then swiftly sank,
night turned to day he was at it again
searching for love, he’d hope to obtain.
One day he saw her, his queen of desire
temperatures rose, his heart was on fire,
calling with passion she could not resist
love was confirmed, his wife did exist.
That night under stars shining so bright
together they left to Freddie’s delight,
a frog, and his queen he eventually found
to a life time of love forever were bound.
