Get Rid Of The Advertisements

an innocent abundance of love
unfocused eyes seeing everything
the birds fly reaching to grab them
and grab them you would
safely they fly on

boys not beholding what only eyes see
your mind sees far indeed and you hurt
late bloomer they wonder who you are
not knowing you perceived them all the while

one by one they approach in hopes of a date
but all are sent packing even though you wished
if but one had recognized and asked forgiveness
your kind heart would have relented without prejudice

my the years went by wherever they must go
and you found a man
no ordinary man this Godsend and you take your time
until that moment memory day
when something said touched a heart receptive
sweeping you off your feet
into a life of love
where two had waited
one on something even her magnificent eyes could not see
the other patiently on you to finally make up your mind...
