There was a time
He dreamt of her for years and years
And loved her from afar each passing day
Love letter filled with passion he sent
And prayed each night
For her heart to feel the same
One day she began to feel
The love that seemed so surreal
And all these days she never knew
Love could be so true
Ten years of secret love flew by
And on that fateful day
They joined as one
Just like he had prayed
But soon destiny had its say
And ended this short lived miracle
For their loves had experienced an exchange
Her heart was broken by her only true known savior
And their moment in time as soul mates had ended
