Lovely to see you
Each day as he walks down the street
It is his best friend he does always meet
Walking together sometimes hand in hand each day
They sure always seem to make things right for one another today
He often gives her a rose and a poem too
It is always etched with so much love saying darling I love you
She always smiles to him and is shy and coy
But their times together with her best friend she does enjoy
Sometimes she writes a poem for him with hearts too
Etched with the words saying sweetheart I love you
Sometimes they go to the movies on the weekend
He always smiles to her and says I had a great time my friend
Every time he sees her he is always happy too
As they exchange hugs and say I love you
