As Moonlight Falls

As moonlight falls
We catch it with our
Trembling hands
My upside down umbrella
Our aching heart beats again
For the nakedness of sanctums retreat

Be it sand
Or within the breeze
Floating effortlessly
We are united in this love spiral
Soaring within
Flowing without
Peaceful surroundings colored
With imaginations embrace
Repletion of desire extends far beyond
Familiar horizons
Far beyond the pencils tip
And where the shading
catches our shadow
catches our breath

We leave these lines
These patterns of mental reflections
Bequeathed to make-believe pilgrims-
Yet serious lovers
Those that venture afar from restricted borders
And dare to catch the moonlight
When it falls

With trembling hands

And aching hearts

Entwined within a memory
