Celebration of Spring

myspace layouts, myspace codes, glitter graphics

Silent walks,
Yellow buttercups in bloom,
Listening to nature,
White Narcissus wet with dew,
Tasting eloquent beauty,
Purple Orchids love the sun,
Feasting my eyes.
Pink cherry blossoms fete fun,
A sacred ceremony,
Red Quince mother marmalade,
A lingering memory,
Lavender Hyacinths perfumed pomade,
A deep, profound, intimate,
Forget-me-not's, your word, shall keep,
Garden of one's soul,
Burgundy Crab Apple Blossoms greet,
Patiently waits,
Forsythia soft yellow coverlets,
In cool, discreet, shadows,
Mysterious creamy-milk Gardenias set,
Dressed in English Ivy,
Trailing-dulcet-dainty-miniature-roses-pink,
Standing majestically,
Multi-coloured fragrant Freesias blink,
Tiny luminous dewdrops,
Plump fresh Holland Tulips sway,
Slowly slide off,
A line of beautiful ambrosial Stock play,
The iridescent angel's hair,
Tame the soft Lamb's ear with care,
Tangled by a Widower
Dogwood tree blossoms of pink; white; red glare,
Who donned the colour black.
Lovely is she, flowery Azalea, celebration of Spring,
Dignified with honor he waited patiently.
Entwined bleeding hearts flew to Heaven in Angelic wings.

NOTE* This is a tribute in the honor of the memory
of my precious Grandmother J.R.f. (1912-1987)
She was truly a grand lady who absolutely fascinated me.
I've also included my Grandfather M.F.R. (1903-2000)
He was a man of intellect who traveled the world.

*Grandma's favorite song*

'Fascination'
(1932)

It was fascination
I know
And it might have ended
Right then, at the start
Just a passing glance
Just a brief romance
And I might have gone
On my way
Empty hearted

It was fascination
I know
Seeing you alone
With the moonlight above
Then I touch your hand
And next moment
I kiss you
Fascination turned to love

It was fascination
I know
Seeing you alone
With the moonlight above
Then I touch your hand
And next moment
I kiss you
Fascination turned - to - love

Thank You for reading my poem. Love, ~Lady Capri~
