you loved animals especially dogs
my neighbor has four new puppies
so now you can play
a chocolate cake I baked for you
ice cream and candy
a special treat
I have a new friend

we can play a game of checkers
and sit on the floor

that you adore
the best part my angel
of this beautiful day
is holding your hand
so tiny so strong
I am not crying
not one single tear
I promised you this
today was the best day
just to be able to be near
sharing the fun we had
I am not sad
