Strangers I Have Met

The best and most beautiful things

in the world cannot be seen

or even touched.

They must be felt with the heart.

Oh! The beautiful strangers I’ve met upon the net!
Strangers I love but have never met.
They help me when I’m down and blue.
And when the day seems endless, they help me make it threw.
And from our keyboards we reach out to take the others hand.
To form a special bond found only in cyber-land.
Pictures are traded and tall tales told.
Their friendship is precious, yes precious as fine gold.
The jokes they send cause me to smile.
You try to read them, laughing all the while.
Sometimes sad stories are sent that causes you cry.
Then we think, but for the Grace of God there go I.
They feel as close as family to me.
And they are my family, my family in Cyber-Sea
And when we say I love you, it’s not a physical love we send.
It’s a special love that means, “Thank You for Being My Friend.”
