I'm Worth a Lot to Jesus

I'm worth a lot to Jesus;
I'm worth so much He died;
Why He would do this for me
I still am mystified;
I feel so worthless sometimes
I just can't comprehend
How He loves me to the end.

When I am feeling lonely;
Depressed and oh, so low;
My Savior holds His arms out;
A place for me to go;
Like rainbows after raindrops
Or blue skies after snow
His love covers me below.

We sometimes value ourselves
As others say we are;
But they can't see inside us;
They know us just so far;
We have a soul—God-given;
That only He can see;
And He loves us Constantly.

If I could have just one friend
To keep my whole life through;
My God would be that one friend;
His love is always true;
He made the whole world for me;
He's with me every day;
And I pray it stays that way.

I'm worth a lot to Jesus;
I'm worth so much He died;
Because He did this for me
I'll stay right by His side;
And there I will find others
Believing as I do...;
Christian friends our whole life through.
