ah, bright spirit here my soul within
what bliss! what broad contentment i have felt!
to rise like orbs in heav'n, dance and spin
'til naught remains! both thought and body melt
joined seam to seam to thy beloved light
which all creation permeates! to find
that ecstacy which soars beyond delight
within my heart! all sorrows fall behind!
those moments thou hast wisked my soul aloft
seem more than an eternity! a pause
that lasts infinity, my mind held soft
embraced in peace, my spirit free because!
those who don't feel this love my pity own
bright spirit let thyself to them be known
