Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Intoxicated

Artwork by Kuzma courtesy of sensual.artmam.com

Squinting in the lazy glow of a nightlight
trying to focus through the eyes of a dream
I rub fibers of raw desire
deep like the stream of my consciousness
from my skin

Certainly it’s late enough
maybe you stayed for the night
have you decided to teach me really teach me all you know?
water me with your experience help me grow
you be the roots - I’ll be the blossom

Or is it morning?
the clock refuses to reveal
lust and fantasy dance in the air
time is insignificant
you sink into the pool of my dreams with me
treading water hungry legs now intertwined

Echoes of whispers then screams resonate
I rush to preserve the art of the moment
and even now as the fading aroma of dried ink wafts past me
I am intoxicated
