WALKING FOR MY HEALTH

Almost every day I walk five miles..
I meet friendly faces with smiles.
Children are riding bikes on the trail.
Once in a while, I see a kite sail.
I hear birds singing so sweet.
Some runners are fast on their feet.
The grass is so green in the park.
Some lovers stay and kiss in the dark.
In the prime of Spring, nature comes alive.
Lilacs bloom and bees come out of their hive.

After a pouring rain, a rainbow is in the sky.
Little children ask a lot of questions: ''Why?''
Tulips are some of the first to give rebirth.
March is the windy season of this earth.
April is known as the shower season.
Sometimes it reverses, don`t ask me the reason.

I really enjoy this time of year.
I would enjoy it more with a special dear.
I don`t have very much wealth.
I enjoy walking for my health.
