the rain and you
i sit in the park looking up at the rain
thinking about the time you said you would
take me away from all this pain i feel
the tear starts to roll down my face as
i stand up and scream
by this time the rain is falling harder
over my face i
i fall to the floor wondering why
then you came to me
the angel I've been looking forward to see
you toke my hand and pulled me up
its still raining i wounder if this is real
you smile at me as i look at you
you hug me to make me feel better
you tell me every thing is going to be fine
then you sit me down
as i wipe the rain and tears away from my face
you went back
then i realized everything will be fine
and that i will always have some one there watching over
me making sure I'm safe
instead if sitting down i stand up and spin
around smiling i can
feel the warmth you left on me when you hugged me
i now know that you are the one looking
down at me my angel
the one i can trust with my whole life
i think of you every time I'm down
you always put a smile on my face
