~ I Took A Walk On The Wild Side ~

I see a far off wilderness...
the trees are tall and green...
The flowers that are growing there...
in all direction seem!

Waterfalls that spill about...
with no rhyme or reason...
Fullest now because of rains...
in the winter's season!

High above the mountain peaks...
a pair of eagles fly...
Their baby's nest safely placed...
avoiding passers by!

The sun breaking through the trees...
cast shadows in its path...
Darkness of the midnight hour...
it knows it can not last!

Butterflies and birds that sing...
are waking for their day...
They seem to welcome others...
to come out and play!

Animals of ranging kind...
from Lions to Giraffe...
Monkeys climb to highest limbs...
playing as they laugh!

Quiet sounds and movement slight...
surrounding every sense...
Nature's wonders are displayed...
and they are immense!

The sunsets burn with color's flame...
of rainbow magnitude...
Beckoning to sit and watch...
setting evening's mood!

Breathing in the atmosphere...
takes your breath away...
Nature's beauty, undisturbed...
what more can I say!
