Lies
I can still remember
when we were together having fun
running in the water
and swimming in the sun
life was so much simpler
when i didn't have to cry
over the words you've said
the words that showed me you lied
i wanted so much to have you back
that i didn't care what you said
i listened to you because i loved you
but all you wanted was me in bed
now that i see that i have been foolish
and was wrong to listen to your cries
but know i see those words wasn't love
all they were was lies
