i said a prayer just yesterday
and hoped it would come true
i asked the lord for help and love
but first i asked for you
i prayed that i would be to you
a loyal loving friend
i prayed for fun and lots of laughs
and a friendship that wont end
i prayed that you and i might bring
new life to everyday
i prayed that both of us as friends
would learn to work and pray
i prayed for guidance down the road
a prayer i would repeat
to help us smile through good and bad
at everyone we meet
and in the darkness of the night
in sleep i was to see
dreams of us years down the road
living true and free
to DJay, Angie, and Missy I love you guys
