Trying to see
beyond illusion's sky of blue.
Trying to see
through the eyes of reality.
Tasting familiar deja vu,
hiding within future pursue,
trying to see. . . .
By candlelight
surrender to December's cold.
By candlelight
surrounding darkness cannot fight.
Believed in second chances told,
concluding words already sold,
by candlelight.
