Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Oh How We Danced

after the church with our wedding vows said
after the reception when the guest were all fed
even long after the band had went home and to bed
oh how we danced on the night we were wed

we danced to the music just we two could hear
we danced as into each other's eyes we did stare
we danced to the terrace and in the moon lit night air
but the dance that was wanted that night was made clear

as the woman I love whispered into my ear
did you forget that the honeymoon bed is upstairs
where I'll take you to heaven on this night my dear
to which I replied don't be silly my daring I'm already there

oh how we danced on the night we were wed
but the one thing I'll never get out of my head
and the one thing that still turns my face to bright red
is ... oh how we romanced on the night we were wed
