We were first time lovers...
So young and knowing not
Our innocence was lost to each
as passion then we sought!
We didn't really love as should
More experimenting kind
We said the words of love not meant
to give each peace of mind!
Soon drifted each our separate ways
exploring future's best
Though thoughts of you...
would come and go...
Not leaving past to rest!
The years did pass as life fulfilled
and no one special found...
Then as fate would enter in...
I heard an old familiar sound!
It was you, calling my name
The one that you had given...
A silly name of Kitten Paws
Memories now arisen!
I turned to find the face I knew
Oh, so long ago...
Time had changed it little seemed
My heart began to glow!
We hugged! We smiled! Then we kissed!
The fires were rekindled...
What we feel is reminisce...
Yet more as years are mingled!
That we should meet again this way
Like story book romances...
Twas Fate's hand in this 'Chance of a lifetime...
